Lionel PRR E8  6-39600

Pros: 

Great sounds, excellent slow speed operation, Legacy control, very good details (roof fans, hoses, etc).  Hatch on top for easy programming, easy to add Kadee coupler.

Cons:

           Pricey considering only one powered unit.  Small negatives considering scale dimensions are: trucks stick out a little too far and pilot does not match body contour.

Comments:

    Overall a fun and nice engine to have.  I replaced the front coupler on the powered unit only with a Kadee coupler to improve the scale apperance from the front.  This is the next best thing to fixing the pilot.
